Payment Policies
Please review the following policies.
All payments are final and cannot be refunded once paid, unless otherwise specified.
All payments are final and cannot be refunded once paid, unless otherwise specified.
Tuition
- Tuition is broken into a non-refundable deposit (due at registration) plus 2 equal payments (due in September and February). You may pay a larger amount, up to full tuition for the year, if you prefer.
- There is a $10 late fee per class for payments made after the due date, regardless of the reason. (Examples: If your dancer is taking one class per week, the late fee is $10. If your dancer is taking 3 classes per week, the late fee is $30. If you have one dancer taking one class per week, and another taking 2 classes per week, the late fee is $30.)
- Payment plans can be set up as needed. The late fee will be waived as long as a payment plan is made at least one week before payment is due, and part of the payment is made on or before the original due date.
- Tuition is non-refundable once paid, but may be applied to a different class for the same dancer if available. Please note that workshop tuition can only be applied to a different class if the change is made at least one month prior to the workshop start date.
- If a class is canceled due to low enrollment, an alternative class will be recommended. If the alternate class doesn't work for your dancer, a credit for future classes or a refund will be given. (Dancers who pull out of a class before it is canceled will not receive a refund, as they may be the cause of the cancellation.)
Recital Fee
- Recital fees are non-refundable, and subject to a $10 per family late fee if received after the due date in November.
Costumes
- There is a $10 late fee per costume for payments made after the due date. This cannot be waived for any reason, as it is used to pay for the extra shipping and handling costs associated with ordering a costume separately.
- If a dancer pulls out of the recital for any reason, and the costume has already been paid for, the following options are available:
- If the costume has not been ordered yet, a refund minus a $10 per costume administrative fee will be available for pick up at the studio.
- If the costume has been ordered but no work has been done on the costume, it will be available for pick up at the studio the week after the recital. Costumes not picked up at this time become the property of the studio.
- If volunteer work has been done on the costume, you may either pay for the time that was volunteered or donate the costume to the studio.
- Costume rental fees are non-refundable.
Other Events
- Please observe all posted due dates. In addition to extra fees, late payment can sometimes prevent a dancer's participation in the event.
- Payment plans may be available for some events. Please contact the studio in advance if you would like to try to set up a payment plan.
- Casting fees for Winter Ballet Productions are non-refundable , except as detailed in the production contract.
- Competition fees may be partially refundable if the competition cancels or reschedules. Please note that competition refunds are determined by the individual competition's refund policy, and Pas de Deux Dance Studio has no control over said refund policies.
- All other payments to the studio are non-refundable unless extenuating circumstances cause the studio to cancel or reschedule the event. In these circumstances, credits or refunds will be considered on a case by case basis.
Tickets
- Ticket payments are non-refundable unless a performance is cancelled.
- Exchanges to a different time may be available by contacting the studio at least two days prior to the performance.
- If a performance is sold out, the studio will buy back tickets to serve customers on the wait list. Please contact the studio for details if you find that you have extra tickets. You may also donate unused tickets back to the studio.
- Absolutely no refunds or exchanges will be given at the theater under any circumstances.
